"I highly recommend Eric Martin. As you can see from the work he created for us, he is an extremely skilled illustrator. What you cannot see is the following:
1) how well he listened to and reflected back what we were envisioning.
Having worked with designers and illustrators for over 20 years, I know this is a rare skill and one I appreciate.
2) how well he organized himself and us to get this project completed in a timely fashion. This project fell for me at the same time as many other demands, and Eric created and kept a timely schedule, with adequate time for review and revisions.
3) how absolutely enjoyable he is to work with on a project. He is patient, good-humored, understanding, and able to negotiate with different people."
"Our seven member marketing team worked with Eric Martin on our campus map project in 2008. We could not have been more pleased with the end result and continue to receive positive comments about it.
After doing considerable research to get to know our audience, we were able to rely on Eric to guide us through the project from a user's perspective. His eye for graphic design coupled with his illustration skills worked to create a most beautiful and useful map.
Additionally, working with a group of seven might have been difficult for anyone, but he listened to the needs and desires of each of us and somehow found ways to make us all very happy with the outcome. We also appreciated his being able to tell us what wouldn't work or wouldn't be to our benefit."
